Eligibility Requirements:
The Potrero Hill Family
Resource Center accepts all clients B
there are no eligibility requirements. The Potrero Hill Food Pantry Program
requires that the clients live in the Potrero Hill community B
a zip code of 94107. For those in need of food pantry foodstuffs that are
outside of our service area we refer them to the Food Bank B
who will then refer the client to a nearby food pantry.
Program Areas:
Through a
grant from the Human Services Agency, the Potrero Hill Family Resource Center
provides comprehensive services to families with children ages 0 -14 years old
and other families who reside in the Potrero Hill community from our site
located at 85 Turner Terrace. We provide community events and outings to build
trust and to inform the community of our services. We provide free disaster
preparedness, first aid, and CPR classes to build community capacity and
strength. We perform outreach to the harder to reach clients. We provide basic
information & referral, and drop-in resources, including a food pantry, and
a business center. We hold on-going support groups, nutrition education
workshops and parenting workshops. We provide linkages to services, crisis
intervention services and family advocacy to offer direct guidance to families.
